My Philips steam iron is fabulous, I don’t need to worry about adjusting temperatures or burning soft fabrics… makes ironing less annoying ha!

The PerfectCare produces plenty of steam but has a nice feel in its lightweight hand piece. Easily glides through denim but also handles delicate materials with ease.

I love the iron. It does the job beautifully and is a joy to use. But I hate that the steam cord is SO DIFFICULT to wrap around the body of the water tank. It's too thick to fit into the narrow channel and makes storage very clumsy. What am I missing? Is there a video or detailed instructions on how to do this? I had this problem with an earlier model as well. I would have thought Philips would have addressed this very simple issue but they haven't. Another irritation is the way the water tank is engineered. Pouring water in isn't a problem. But emptying the tank is fiddly. There's no direct route out of for the water because of the little humps in the tank that it has to navigate past. I'm just wondering if there's a purpose to them? Would have been so much easier if the water was able to be poured out the way you pour water out of a jug, with no imepdiment to its flow.
