First time using an iron like that, takes a bit of getting used to. But once you do, it’s amazing for stiff fabrics like denim. Steam generation is powerful and makes for much faster ironing in general.

I had use the previous perfectcare series and had to upgrade to this

[Employee of philipsglobal] This Philips iron is super pretty. I almost felt it was a shame to store it away in my service yard. My ironing board is not sturdy enough to hold the whole iron so I've placed the water tank on the floor. Iron cord is long enough to be used on the board. The iron itself is pretty lightweight, and glides really smoothly over garments. The product boasts of AI technology to recognise the garment type. Honestly I wouldn't be able to tell as a layman, but so far I've not had any garments that was tricky to iron. There is no temperature setting, and it usually takes just about 2 glides over the area to straighten creases. The powerful steam feature also helps to save alot of time with ironing. When not ironing, the iron does not get activated, which saves me time from having to get the iron to sit upright. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. Next innovation, can we get an auto self-ironing iron please?
