I am a medium type of skin for shaving. This shaver was perfect for me from the day I purchased it. I could not fault it in any way.

After owning this shaver for a month i have found it to be doing a fantastic job, I can shave 2 days growth in under 2 minutes and it leaves the skin very smooth. It has a great battery running time, i have not charged it since buying it a month ago. the shaver is very easy to clean , just run it under the tap and let it dry. the only fault i found it did not have a carry case like my older ones.

I've had several Philips shave over 45 years (never blade shaved.) They've got better each model - with the exception of my last one AT750 which a) did not shave well, and b) battery failed to hold a charge after 18 months. Warrant enquiry went no where as I couldn't produce the purchase slip. This SW5700/07 has renewed my faith in Philips (although I'm interested to see how long this battery lasts). An all-round excellent shaver.
