The shave was excellent and overall an improved experience coming from another older generation Philips shaver (Series 5000)

This is my second Philips 9000 series shaver and this new model has improved a lot. Long battery life and it meets my needs for a clean shave . Good so far .

I'm usually sceptical of equipment/appliances tt have too many bells & whistles. In this shaver S9982, I think it works really well. 1. There is a pressure sensor to teach you how much pressure to apply for a good shave that doesn't irritate your skin. I'm getting great results and it's clear I've been applying way too much pressure all these years. The little ring of light goes from blue (too little pressure), to green (just right), to orange (too much). It's very helpful. 2. It's fully washable so no worries about getting it drenched/wet 3. Paired with the phone App it will also coach you if you've been using sufficient circular motions (which most of us don't). I've followed the coaching and I have to say the results are better than when I used to move sorta in straight lines. And can move in slow circles too...no need to rush. 4. Cleaning system works well

So far very smooth shaving experience and loving the product. Usage is very seamless.

It has been improving over the years with new features. Strongly recommend to my friends.

Philips Advertisement does mess your mind up with their latest technologies. I mean, who the right mind will invent a electric shaver to be used in the bathroom with shaver foam/gel and hot water that connect to an app and show how efficient your shaving skill performed. The Shaver series S9982/50 bring joy every morning to me. I am able to bath and shave at the same time and not worry about razor burn or cut that normally happened with the conventional shaver. Save my time, and the power of this shaver is so good that I get "CLEAN" cut every time using it. Once a while like every fortnightly then you bring your shaver in to charge whilst taking such opportunity to sync with your mobile also to do a cleaning with the pod in order to prolong the usage of the blades. I do recommend this shaver and hope my review helps....

Good close shave leaving the face soft. Good battery lifespan too. Only downside would be the side shaver which is hard to use. Keep it up!
